On Saturday around 3:41 pm deputies responded to the area of State Route 5&20 near Wheeler Station Rd. in Bloomfield for the report of a two-car crash with possible injuries.
Upon investigation deputies learned that Dillon T. Robinson, of Victor was operating a brown 2002 Buick Century and failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto Wheeler Station Rd.
Deputies say Robinson was subsequently struck by a gray 2007 Honda Accord operated by Harold Deal, of Rushville. His wife was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital with a possible chest injury.
Robinson was issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
