The Ithaca Police Department says that on Friday around 11:06 pm they were called to 317 South Cayuga St. for a reported 20-year-old, who had fallen from a second story balcony.
Sgt. Robert Brotherton says that Thomas Hilchey, 20, of Ithaca was found unconscious on the ground, bleeding from the ears and nose. He was breathing at the time, but was transported by helicopter to Robert Packer Hospital, in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
Brotherton says that the entire incident appears to be an accident, but an investigation is underway.
The victim’s family has been notified, according to police.
