In response to the voices of the people who use the state’s Skaneateles Lake Boat Launch off Route 41A, Constable Tom Adessa and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation have posted parking regulations that will be strictly enforced this summer.
“These were recommended by the people who use it,” Adessa said. “Remember how nice last summer was? We had a lot of traffic problems.”
The regulations are in effect from seven days a week from April 15 to Oct. 15 from sunrise to sunset. The remainder of the year, the boat launch drive accessed from Route 41/West Lake Road is chained and locked.
