Auburn Police say a juvenile that was reported missing last week has died in Western New York.
Auburn Police say Destani Williams, 17, was reported as having run away from the Cayuga Centers on May 15. On May 19, the body of an unresponsive female was brought to Brook’s Hospital in Dunkirk, located in Chautauqua County. The following morning, she had died. The body was confirmed to be that of Destani Williams, according to authorities.
Auburn Police say Dunkirk Police are handling the investigation into who brought Williams’ body to the hospital and the circumstances around her death.
