The tentative assessment roll of town properties shows an increase from $438.9 million in 2016 to $440.3 million in 2017.
A revaluation was done in 2016.
The tentative roll has been completed and will soon be available for inspection at the Municipal Building at 130 Ovid St. during regular business hours on weekdays.
Town Assessor Stephanie Holtz has information for property owners on the procedure for challenging an assessment.
Holtz will have the tentative assessment roll at hand for meetings with property owners who wish to make an initial challenge to their assessment.
Those meetings will be 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. May 2; 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 9; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13; and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 16 at the municipal building.
