A 26-year-old Ontario man is facing two charges after he allegedly entered the Kwik Fill located at 98 Rt. 104 armed with a handgun, forcibly stealing money from the cash register.
Deputies say that Matthew J. Ciufo, 26, of Rochester was charged with second-degree robbery and petit larceny. He was arraigned in Ontario Town Court and released on his own recognizance to answer the charges at a later date.
The incident allegedly took place on April 8th, 2015 — with the investigation into the incident spanning nearly two years.
