A 39-year-old Farmington man was arrested on two counts of stalking after the Canandaigua Police Department investigated two incidents, involving two separate victims.
Officers say that Gene M. Timothy, 39, of Farmington was charged with two counts of fourth-degree stalking after he allegedly stalked two victims by calling them and disguising his voice. He is accused of also leaving unwanted voice messages on the victim’s phones, damage the victim’s vehicles, leaving hypodermic needles in hallways of the victim’s residence — and even placing a tracking device on the victim’s vehicles.
Officers say that the individual even got a job at the victim’s place of employment and moved from Wyoming County to continue stalking them.
The arrest took place on Thursday around 11:15 am.
The charges will be answered in Canandaigua City Court.
