Deputies in Ontario County say they arrested a Port Gibson man on assault charges after an incident involving a female victim.
Bryan M. Young, 24, of Port Gibson was charged with third-degree assault after he allegedly was involved in a verbal argument with a known female and during that argument — threw his phone at the female, striking her in the face.
She sustained a minor injury to her face. Young was arraigned in Manchester Town Court and committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond.
