Deputies: Three Canandaigua men located, charged after Gorham robbery

Three Canandaigua men were arrested and charged with robbery following an incident that took place on County Road 24 in Gorham earlier.

Deputies say that Andrew Scott Wilcox, 29, Chancey William Schenk, 25, and Jacob James Lambert, 26 — all of Canandaigua had traveled to the residence of an acquaintance with the intent to steal drugs and other property.

The trio entered the property without permission and began physical altercations with the male and female occupants. One victim had to be transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The three individuals fled the scene by vehicle after stealing cash and a purse belonging to a visitor at the residence. The three defendants, as well as the vehicle were later located and all three were transported to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for further investigative measures.

All were charged with second-degree robbery. They were arraigned in Gorham Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail.

Additional charges are possible, according to deputies.
