After allowing 44 points last week in a win over Utica Proctor, the Maroons knew they would need a better defensive effort against a desperate Liverpool team.

They got it.

Auburn football pitched a shutout against the Warriors Friday night at Holland Stadium, emerging with a 30-0 win in its final regular season game. The win improves the Maroons’ playoff seeding, while effectively knocking the Warriors out of postseason contention.
