If it wasn't clear before, Assemblyman Gary Finch wants to make it clear now: He opposes pay hikes for state legislators. Finch's opponent, Democratic candidate Diane Dwire, called on the Republican assemblyman to "take a stand" on potential pay raises for legislators. He initially came out against one proposal that would raise legislators' salaries from $79,500 to $116,900 a year.
