It was all smiles on Saturday as Syracuse Athletics hosted the annual Preferred Mutual ‘Cuse Fan Fest inside Manley Field House. The Syracuse community will celebrate the life of former head football coach Dick MacPherson on Friday, Aug. 11. MacPherson, who coached the Orange from 1981-90 and led the program to five bowl games and an undefeated season in 1987, passed away Tuesday. He was 86 years old.
