The New York State Sheriffs’ Institute held a week-long Advanced School for staff of Sheriffs’ civil divisions this month at the Albany County Courthouse. Almost 70 participants from Sheriffs’ Offices around the State attended the program, including Deputy Rob Morse and Sergeant Tate Colburn from Ontario County. The ball was in Erin Wong’s hand when Victor lost its only softball game this spring, a 13-9 setback to Monroe County rival Fairport on May 3. On May 19th the Canandaigua City Police Department arrested 22-year-old Joseph D. Krug, of Victor, and 28-year-old Christopher Nacca, of Webster. The arrests were the result of an on-going drug investigation conducted by the Canandaigua City Police Department, with assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department.
