A Lake Effect Snow Warning has been issued for both Wayne and Cayuga County. The National Weather Service in Buffalo issued the warning Monday afternoon, which is forecasting 7-13 inches of snow Tuesday night, with another 6-12 inches of snow falling on Wednesday. Wind Gusts could reach 45 mph during the peak of the lake effect snow event, which would amplify the problems the forecasted 2 feet of snow could bring.
