A Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration at Women’s Rights Park

Kids of all ages, come to Women’s Rights National Historical Park on Saturday, January 16th, to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday! The activities start at 11:00 am in the Visitor Center with Reading Ranger and stories of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy followed by hands-on art projects and games. Visitors can also spend their day discovering the park exhibits, joining a ranger for a tour of the Wesleyan Chapel, and exploring the activities in the Underground Railroad Classroom. The fight for civil rights did not end with Martin Luther King Jr. Women’s Rights National Historical Park continues to commemorate not only the struggle for women’s rights, but the struggle for all human and civil rights. Women’s Rights National Historical Park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
