In perhaps the most heated high school rivalry in the area the Clyde Savannah Golden Eagles Varsity boys basketball team traveled to Lyons and picked a 61-45 win over their neighboring rival. Lyons raced to an early 10-0 lead but Clyde Savannah 14-3 on the year and 12-1 in league play bounced back never looking back. Dru Carnevale led the winners with 19 points.
