The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on January 2nd around 4:14 pm deputies arrested Steven A. Greene, 37, of Manchester on a warrant for first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, as well as a multitude of other traffic and vehicle offenses.
While taking the defendant into custody and further investigation — deputies found a quantity of heroin, which led to the charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned in Hopewell Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
Greene will answer all of the charges at a later date in Manchester Town Court.
