On Wednesday the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Derek M. Bergstresser, age 27 of Penn Yan, on a superior court warrant for two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 5th and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th.Bergstresser is accused of selling suboxone and was taken into custody at his residence. He was arraigned in Yates County Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
