Police say the execution of a search warrant led to the arrest of a mother and son on numerous drug and firearm charges in the city of Geneva.
On Thursday around 3 p.m. the Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office – executing a search warrant at an address on Hamilton Street.
Police say the search yielded a large quantity of narcotics, and several firearms. The pair of arrests are the result of a several month investigation into the sale of cocaine in Geneva.
Alec M. Spann, 23, of Geneva was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance – a Class A felony, and held without bail.
His mother, identified as Rebecca A. Spann, 42, of Geneva was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance – a Class B felony, and held without bail.
Police say Spann has prior felony convictions.
In addition to firearms and drugs, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency were recovered, too.
