Bicyclist struck by vehicle on Rt. 104, sent to Strong Memorial Hospital

On Friday around 8:43 pm deputies responded to an accident on State Route 104 involving a passenger vehicle and bicycle.

The incident happened when a car was pulling out of the parking lot of the Fastrac convenience store – when a bicyclist was struck by that car.

Deputies say the operator of the vehicle – William Benedict, 28, of Ontario was not ticketed.

The bicyclist, 29-year-old Adam Wisecup, of Ontario suffered minor injuries and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Ontario Fire Department and Williamson Ambulance assisted at the scene.
