On September 6th at approximately 2:34 pm police arrested a Seneca Falls man on a warrant for stalking and contempt.
Steven L. Cooley, 33, of Seneca Falls is accused of fourth-degree stalking and second-degree criminal contempt. Both of misdemeanors.
Cooley is accused of following the victim in his vehicle while she was at a Town of Seneca Falls business when an active Stay Away Order of Protection was in effect, which instilled fear in the female victim.
He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await Centralized Arraignment.
