Police: Trio arrested after traffic stop in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports a series of arrests following a traffic stop in the Town of Seneca Falls on Wednesday.

Around 12:36 am police arrested Austin T. Kelley, 22, of Seneca Falls on a warrant for Violation of Conditional Discharge. Kelley is accused of failing to complete his community service hours as stipulated by the Town of Seneca Falls Court. He was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail.



Police also arrested Destiny A. Palmer, 23, of Interlaken for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The charge stems from a traffic stop conducted in the Town of Seneca Falls where Palmer was found to possess Marijuana. She was issued an appearance ticket and was released, to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.

Police say Todd S. Murphy, 22, of Lima was charged with DWAI-Drugs, Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop. Murphy is accused of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug. Police say he also is accused of being in the company of a female with whom he has an order of protection against. He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and committed to SCCF on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond. Murphy is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
