Seneca Meadows continues to invest in Waterloo Village beautification efforts

For 17 years, Seneca Meadows has continued to invest in the ongoing beautification efforts spearheaded by the many volunteers and committee members of the Waterloo In Bloom organization. One such investment has been the multi year effort to restore and rehabilitate Dempsey Park on Virginia Street in Waterloo. Previously, SMI aided in the addition of a fountain in the circular walkway. This year’s investment added twelve boxwood and twelve Lily turf around the circle along with needed mulch. Some other earlier investments were donating funds for an ATV to make traveling the village streets easier to water all of the flowers and plants, the arch and landscaping in Vern’s Way, and landscaping the Memory Bank on Locust Street.

Seneca Meadows, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the environment: recycling up to 2 million tires per year, partnering in the production of methane generated renewable energy, supporting wetlands conservation and environmental programming, and providing free residential recycling and electronics recycling drop off services for Seneca County residents.
