The Cayuga County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Associated voted this week to endorse Brian Schenck for Cayuga County Sheriff.
As an officer with more than 20 years experience, the association says Schenck has demonstrated what an officer should be and has earned the respect of his colleagues.
“Having worked by side-by-side with Brian we are confident he will be an excellent leader,” the Association said in a statement on Tuesday. “We look forward to working with Brian to develop ways to better serve the community and continue providing vital police services with our 33 members that comprise the Road Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions.
