Speed stop leads to DWI charge for Waterloo woman

On Sunday at 12:56 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Waterloo woman following a traffic stop on Fall Street.

Emily L. Raeman, 25, was stopped by police for speed in zone.

During the stop it was determined that Emily was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated.



She was charged with speed in zone, a violation; driving while intoxicated, driving with .08% or more BAC, and obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors.

She was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court where she was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail.

Raeman is scheduled to re-appear in court at a later date.
