The Auburn Police Department received more calls for service and investigated more crimes last month, according to its monthly activity report.
In May, officers answered 3,527 calls for service — that's 516 more than the month before. In addition, APD made 46 more arrests (112) and handled 26 more drug investigations (29), 13 more larcenies (48) and 46 more complaints of disorderly conduct, fights and noise (108). There were also 17 more harassment investigations (71), 12 more criminal mischief complaints (27), six more domestic violence incidents (109) and five more cases of fraud (17).
