Deputies: Woman stole over $3,000 from Seneca County business

Deputies say a 59-year-old Avoca resident was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records after an alleged $3,000 theft from a Town of Lodi business at an earlier date.

Michelle M. Cornaire, 59, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records after allegedly stealing more than $3,000 from a local business in Lodi.

Deputies say she attempted to cover up the theft by falsifying business records.

As result Cornaire was arraigned and released on her own recognizance. The charges will be answered at a later date.
