An elementary school in Newark is among five national finalists for a brand-new playground.
Perkins Elementary School is part of the Project Playground program, a nationwide search for one school in need of a brand-new playground.
The search asks the public to vote online for their favorite school now through March 16th.
Perkins Elementary is currently in third place out of the five schools.
Each vote places the user voting into a sweepstakes for a $100 Target gift card or a box Culturelle Kids Chewables. Votes can be placed every 24 hours.
