District Attorney: Defendant with 63 prior convictions pleads guilty in Seneca Falls burglary

Seneca County District Attorney Barry Porsch says a 64-year-old Rochester man, who was charged with third-degree burglary, pleaded guilty in exchange for a 2.5 to 5 year sentence.

Richard T. Depascale, 64, accepted the deal at the start of a jury trail in Seneca County Court on Monday.

Porsch says DePascale admitted that on December 21st, 2016 he unlawfully entered the Kinney Drug Store in Seneca Falls with the intent to commit a crime. He was prohibited from entering the property after another larceny at the same store.

According to Porsch, DePascale had approximately 63 prior convictions. Sentencing will take place on March 26th.

DePascale was represented by the Seneca County Public Defender.

The Seneca Falls Police Department conducted the investigation, which resulted in the arrest.
