TRAVEL ADVISORY: Seneca Co. motorists urged to use caution on roadways

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce issued a travel advisory for the remainder of the day as winter weather makes road conditions difficult to manage.

Sheriff Luce said, “It is recommended that citizens do not engage in unnecessary travel. Roads in Seneca County are open but are snow covered and slippery in areas. citizens are advised to drive slowly and allow extra time to travel to appointments and work.”

Deputies are monitoring the roadways to check for stranded or disabled vehicles.

At midnight the travel advisory will expire, according to Luce.
