A Shortsville teen was arrested on an assault charge following an altercation after a basketball game at Bloomfield Central School District.
Deputies say that Oliva Vassell, 18, of Shortsville was charged with third-degree assault after allegedly punching an unidentified victim in the face numerous times.
Deputies also say that the repeated blows to the victim’s face caused bleeding, swelling, and bruising.
Vassell was arraigned in East Bloomfield Town Court and released to appear at a later date.
