The doctor from Clyde accused of sharing child pornography had his bail hearing adjourned for a second time due to a lack of counsel.
David Blasczak is facing federal child pornography charges after he was arrested last month for possessing and sharing hundreds of images of child pornography. He worked as a doctor in Clyde, Wayne County, and is also accused of taking photos of at least eight child patients for personal gratification.
During a federal court hearing Friday morning, the public defender representing Blasczak said he cannot consider a bail hearing for him until he has counsel to represent him. Last week, Blasczak requested an additional week to obtain an attorney to represent him in court. He was unable to do so.
