Investigators say a West Bloomfield woman stole more than $6,000 in benefits from Ontario County Department of Social Services at the conclusion of an investigation this week.
Amanda M. Putnam, 29, of West Bloomfield was charged with third-degree grand larceny after allegedly receiving $6,075 in Child Care Assistance that she was not entitled to because she was not employed on a regular, ‘full-time’ basis.
She was arraigned in Hopewell Town Court and will answer the charges at a later date.
