Syracuse offense comes alive in 81-63 win over BC (full coverage)

Syracuse (14-6, 3-4 ACC) shot a season-high 60.4 percent (29-of-48) from the field to surge past Boston College (13-8, 3-5 ACC), 81-63, Wednesday night in the Carrier Dome. Five different Orange players finished the game in double-figure scoring.

Sophomore Tyus Battle led the way with 24 points, while shooting 9-of-14 (64.3 percent) from the field. Junior Frank Howard added 18 points with six assists and junior Paschal Chukwu contributed 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

Freshman Oshae Brissett recorded 13 points and seven rebounds and freshman Marek Dolezaj totaled a career-high 12 points with eight boards.

Syracuse and Boston College meet on Wednesday, Jan. 24 for the first of two contests this season. Tip-off in the Carrier Dome is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU and on the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.
