The next steps for several ongoing Auburn-area projects will be discussed during Thursday's Auburn City Council meeting.
Casey Park
City planning staff members Renee Jensen and Tiffany Beebee will unveil the design for the new all-inclusive, handicap-accessible playground at Casey Park. The city is working with the Ithaca company Play By Design to create the playground, which will be built by volunteers from the community.
A public meeting was held in December to gather input for the playground's design. Students at Casey Park Elementary School also submitted drawings and letters detailing what elements they would like to see in the playground.
