Police: Duo accused of stealing over $2,100 worth of merchandise from Seneca Falls Walmart

Earlier this week a duo from Rochester was arrested in Seneca Falls on felony charges after stealing more than $2,000 from Walmart.

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that Patricia Dennis, 32, and Alychnia McCathan, 23, both of Rochester were charged with felony grand larceny after stealing more than $2,104 worth of merchandise from the Walmart in Seneca Falls.

Dennis was also charged with third-degree burglary because she had previously been served a trespassing notice restricting her from entering the Walmart property.

Both were committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. Dennis is held on no bail, while McCathan was held on $3,000 cash bail.

They will appear at a later date to answer the charges.

The Waterloo Police Department and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted police in Seneca Falls during the incident.
