Wegmans is tied for the title of America’s favorite grocery store.
The Rochester-based grocer and Florida-based Publix Super Markets tied for first place in a new survey by Market Force Information, a retail consulting firm.
Market Force surveyed 12,774 shoppers. Wegmans and Publix both scored 77% on the Composite Loyalty Index, which was calculated using customer ratings given for store qualities such as value, fast service, and cleanliness.
