Deputies in Ontario County arrested a pair on drug charges over the weekend after the execution of a search warrant in Canandaigua.
Deputies say Ted J. Edmunds, 39, of Rochester and Ashley K. Hammer, 28, of Canandaigua for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at the Super 8 Motel on State Route 5&20.
The arrest took place after authorities executed a search warrant and found cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl, which were packaged for sale.
The search warrant was obtained after a joint investigation by three law enforcement agencies into the sale of heroin.
Both were arraigned in Canandaigua City Court. Bail was set at $10,000 cash for Edmunds. Deputies say Hammer was held without bail due to previous felony charges.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
