Deputies say that two Ontario County teens were charged following a traffic stop on State Route 332 in Canandaigua.
Kaylin M. Carlson, 18, of Farmington and Brittany R. Martz, 18, of Bloomfield were both ticketed after a traffic stop was initiated due to the driver speeding.
Deputies say Carlson was the operator of the vehicle and was speeding on Route 332. When the stop was initiated an open container of alcohol was inside.
She was cited for speeding, possessing a controlled substance, and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
Martz was ticketed for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both are due back in court at a later date.
