The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of an 18-year-old Seneca Falls resident after he was found driving under the influence of drugs with a 16-month-old passenger.
Lucas J. Corter, 18, of Seneca Falls was arrested for DWAI drugs under Leandra’s Law. He was also cited for speeding, failing to keep right, and failing to signal.
The arrest took place on Sunday in the Town of Lyons at 10:25 pm. According to deputies, the child was turned over to her mother.
Corter was remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. He will answer the charges in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
