On Wednesday at approximately 9:37 am deputies arrested a registered sex offender in Clifton Springs after failing to register.
Deputies say Jeffrey P. Arnold, 41, of Clifton Springs was charged with failing to register as a sex offender after a warrant was issued in Canandaigua City Court.
The investigation revealed taht Arnold is a designated Level 3 sex offender and failed to appear in Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for his regular, 90-day personal verification.
He was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and committed to the Ontario County Jail with no bail. He will answer the charges in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
