On Saturday around 4:35 pm members of the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Lyons man following a shoplifting complaint at Walmart.
Officers say Tony E. Hickey, 46, was observed by asset protection employees stealing merchandise, passing all points of sale with no attempt at rendering payment for the items.
Hickey, who was also on parole, was processed and charged with one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
As a result of the arrest, Hickey was also violated by parole.
He was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail.
