The Mynderse Academy boys varsity soccer team hosted North Rose-Wolcott on Monday night in Seneca Falls in the season opener for both squads. The Blue Devils came away with a 5-1 victory.
Mathew Reardon scored the first two goals. Sophomore Griffin Herron scored off an assist from senior Keegan Baker. Baker also assisted on the Blue Devils’ final two goals, both netted by Jeremy Porter.
Mynderse is in action again at home on Wednesday night when they will face Eastridge at 6:30 pm. North Rose-Wolcott will take the field again on Wednesday as well when they are scheduled to host Sodus.
