Victor Blue Devils rout Yorktown to three-peat as NYS champions

There was nary a sound to be heard as the Victor boys’ lacrosse team walked off the field at halftime Saturday afternoon at St. John Fisher College.

The scoreboard was a beautiful sight, but there was no whooping, no trash-talking, just respectful, work-still-to-be-done quiet, because about 90 minutes earlier, they had watched their Section V brethren from Pittsford lose a game that simply defied logic.
