HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
May 15th: Deputies arrested a male subject for menacing after he pulled a knife and threatened people at the Del Lago Casino.
May 16th: Corrections Officers led a group of volunteer inmates to clean up the Lakeview Cemetery in Interlaken.
May 17th: Investigators worked with several area police agencies to bring down 2 persons dealing narcotics in Seneca, Ontario and Wayne counties. 170 bags of fentanyl and 6 bags of cocaine were seized. The fentanyl was being sold as heroin.
05/18/2017: Investigators arrested an adult male for sexually molesting a female less than 15 years old. The investigation is continuing.
May 23rd: After an undercover investigation the Narco Unit arrested a subject for selling crack cocaine in the Town of Seneca Falls.
May 24th: A woman who tried to smuggle cigarettes to an inmate at County Court on 05/09/2017 was arrested by Court Security Deputies.
May 24th: Corrections started an Inmate Garden to raise fresh produce for the facility. Surplus will be donated to the Office of the Aging.
