On May 20th at 1:45 am a Marion man was arrested on Niagara St. after he was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Officers arrested Troy P. Meland, 22, of Marion for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, unlawful possession of marijuana and several vehicle and traffic violations.
Officers say Meland was driving while intoxicated and when they attempted to take him into custody — he refused to provide identifying information — and even refused to be fingerprinted or photographed.
He was remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
