Police: Seneca Falls man triggered stun gun near victim’s face

On May 11th at 12:33 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Town resident after an incident involving a stun gun.

While details of the incident were not released by authorities, Peter J. Day, 47, of Seneca Falls was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He is accused of holding a stun gun in close proximity to the face of a local resident and sparking the stun gun during that incident.

Day was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and released upon posting $1,500 bail. He will reappear in court on June 1st.

An order of protection was issued protecting the victim.
