The Cayuga Community College Board of Trustees will discuss tuition and fee schedules at its monthly meeting Wednesday night, as college president Brian Durant said he will propose a 1 percent tuition increase.
Durant said the passing of the state budget has had both positive and negative impacts on the college, but he hopes to keep fees and tuition pricing relatively stable. One disappointment was the amount of money the state Legislature allotted per full-time equivalent student. Though the state passed a $50 per FTE increase, Durant said that actually translates to a decrease in state funding.
