Deputies in Seneca County say that the Narcotics Unit arrested an Interlaken man on Friday.
Alex A. Cooper, 19, of Interlaken was charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Cooper allegedly possessed multiple Xanax pills and marijuana while in Ovid.
He was arraigned in Romulus Town Court and released on his own recognizance. The charges will be answered at a later date.
