The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 15th at approximately 8:46 pm deputies responded to the area of 1350 County Rd. 6 for an ATV rollover accident.
It was initially reported that one of the parties involved was complaning of a neck injury, and as result of the investigation that ensued — deputies learned that Connor Fox, 23, of Phelps was operating a Can-Am Commander 1000 in a field off of County Rd. 6 hen the ATV tipped over landing on 23-year-old Tyler Fisher, also of Phelps.
Both parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and Fisher was flown via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of a serious neck injury.
At this time no charges are being pressed against either party. Deputies say alcohol and drugs did not play a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
